GardMin Engineering LLC applied for FDA 510K approval for our LifeChoiceToday at-home insemination syringe on June 1st, 2010. GardMin Engineering LLC recently received correspondence from the FDA including instructions detailing clinical trials we would need to complete in order to market the syringe as an at-home use device. The FDA recommended that the LifeChoiceToday syringe be a prescription use only device. GardMin Engineering LLC is awaiting proposals for the clinical testing.
The Life Choice Today syringe is almost ready. We are awaiting approval from the FDA for the syringe to be released to the general public. Check out the website Inseminationathome .
GardMin Engineering did not receive the grant we applied for but the generator project is not dead it is just “sleeping” for now until we can find a better source of funding.
The Inseminationathome.com website is up, but not running yet. The Life Choice Today syringe will make it’s debut in late summer 09. Please check the website often as updates will be posted on a regular basis.
GardMin Engineering is still waiting on news of the award of DOD contract W9132T-09-R-0012-0001.
GardMin Engineering finished DOD contract W91LV2-08-p-0103 at the Belle Chase NAS in Louisiana on the 15th of May. Along with All Star Electric we installed one 200kW generator and Automatic Transfer Switch(ATS) and one 800kW generator and ATS along with help from TJT Contruction LLC who poured the concrete pad for the 800kW. We used Cummins generators and the project looks great!
GardMin Engineering LLC is awaiting award news from the Department of Defense Office of Naval Research Small Business Innovative Research(SBIR) grant office. This grant would allow GardMin Engineering LLC to study the use of Bottoming Rankine Cycles to increase efficiency of small electricity-producing turbines(Microturbines) 30 Kilowatt size and below.
GardMin Engineering LLC has also submitted a proposal for Department of Defense contract “Energy and Utility Systems Engineering Research” and is anxiously awaiting the proposal award.
GardMin Engineering LLC is developing a new medical device called “The Life Choice Today” syringe that is used for at-home insemination. This syringe operates on the “Turkey Baster” method of collecting the semen and then depositing via syringe. This syringe is the first of it’s kind and eliminates time and steps for this procedure making it a cleaner healthier action and hopefully more successful!
