GardMin Engineering LLC was founded in 2008 by Tyler Gardner and Gregory Minow.
Tyler Gardner is a furniture and speciality/custom cabinet designer residing in southeastern Montana. His schooling and experience has produced some of the finest quality furniture and kitchen cabinets in the world.
Gregory Minow is a medically retired U.S. Army officer and mechanical engineer who recently completed his masters at San Diego State University specializing in Thermal Sciences. His thesis was titled “Power Generation Using Low-Grade Heat Recovery” and explained the use of an Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC) to produce electricity. Low-grade 0r more commonly low-temperature heat sources like waste heat or solar thermal can be used to power a generator for low cost without increased use of fossil fuels or other natural resources. Challenges to this concept include physical footprint/space, thermal storage, and initial equipment cost amongst other issues. Gregory has knowledge in other areas of engineering such as plastics and carbon fiber composites. He also has training, knowledge, and experience designing medical devices.
Luz Enriquez Almaguer joined the GardMin Engineering team when the president asked her to help develop The Life Choice syringe. Luz has her masters in BioEngineering from SDSU and the topic of her thesis was Left Ventricular Assist Devices(LVAD).
